10 Video Game Achievements You Literally Had To Die For

3. 7 Days To Die

Achievement: Meet Your Maker

This zombie-based survival horror game has an incredibly strong following from those who play it, with a large community dedicated to discovering the best way to go about achieving the goal of the game. There are so many bases to be covered as well, from how you start out the game, crafting what and where, to later on (if you last that long) when you're piecing together a fort with defences.

Every seven days a huge wave of zombies charges on your location, as opposed to the standard amount that roam around friendly during general play.

Obviously the goal of the entire thing is surviving for as long as possible. It's a survival game, it makes sense to avoid dying.

All of this makes the achievement at hand even more confusing, and frustrating, to get. Meet Your Maker requires you to die 500 times! There are four achievement of the same vein preceding it, asking you to be killed 5, 25 and 100 times, but that pales in comparison to five bloody hundred!

When you die, you lose all your possessions in the game, making it very difficult to get going again, so dying 500 times pretty much ruins your chances at going too long. Not to mention the amount of time it would take to actively go and die that many times.

It's a bloody long process.
