10 Video Game Bad Endings BETTER Better Than Good Ones
3. (Don't Fear) The Reaper - Cyberpunk 2077
In the finale of Cyberpunk 2077, your character V needs to storm Arasaka Tower with Johnny Silverhand and their closest companions in order to determine the fate of the megacorporation.
There is a slight problem, however. If you never bothered to help out your friends, it's very likely they won't be willing to go on a suicide mission with you...
"(Don't Fear) The Reaper" is a secret bad ending in which V needs to take down Arasaka solo as no one answers their call. It only triggers when the player waits long enough during the final conversation with Johnny, and interestingly enough, it is the only ending that doesn't allow you to save or reload your game.
When you die, the screen simply fades to black, and the credits roll.
Now, although the concept of an actual suicide mission sounds pretty bad in theory, this ending is easily the most badass thing you'll ever experience in Cyberpunk. The finality of everything, combined with the fact that your V becomes a one-person army, killing everyone in their path, makes this the only ending that solidifies your status as a Night City Legend.
After all, a good samurai is a lone samurai.
