10 Video Game Bosses Genuinely IMPOSSIBLE Without A Guide

Sometimes the guide you need isn't one for getting through the boss fight, but for preparing for said boss fight.

Kingdom Hearts' combat system, especially with its bosses, is fairly straightforward. The only thing you have to deduce is "how many times can I afford to get hit by the enemy and am I strong enough to effectively hit back?" The fight with Sephiroth follows this same principle, only the answers to both questions are, respectively, "maybe once if you're lucky" and "HA, f**k no!"

Game journalists have written entire papers on just prepping for this one boss fight, as it is the ultimate challenge for a Kingdom Hearts player. Not just items and magic, but specific keyblades to have on hand, equipment to wear, and of course, what level to be at. All of those papers pretty much agree across the board that if you aren't lvl 99 (literally the highest level in the game), then you're destined for a bad time.

But the need for a guide does extend into the fight itself, with it being the only way a new player will know to block the SECOND they have control of Sora again.
