10 Video Game Bosses So Huge You Had To Take Them Down From The Inside

1. Cronos - God Of War III

There are a whole heaping lot of excellent boss fights in God of War roster, but Kratos' bout against the behemoth Cronos is definitely one of the best.

You start the fight navigating around Cronos' huge body, fighting enemies who've infested the old god like fleas. It's like a deleted boss fight out of Shadows of the Colossus, and thus undeniably some of the coolest stuff ever.

Having beaten waves of these enemies - and having torn the giant's fingernails out whenever he gets close - the Greek god of time gets sick of you carrying out a hundred petty injuries on him, and decides to just straight up eat you. This is especially cool in context, because in greek mythology, Cronos ate all of his children to try and prevent a prophecy about him being overcome - so the boss' decision to eat you does fit in to the lore.

It's also a terrible decision, however, because it allows you to slide your way down his gullet and then rip a hole in his torso, which results on his intestines ending up on the outside. From here it's a nail to the chin and a blast to the brain and finally Cronos is dead - and likely regretting eating you.
