8. Icon Of Sin - Doom Eternal (2019)
Though featured in almost every Doom game to date, the godlike Icon of Sin makes his first complete physical appearance in Doom Eternal, where he is, quite fittingly, the game's final boss.
While dodging his attacks and defending yourself against the hordes of enemies all around you, the objective is to blow off all of the Icon's protective armour, then go at his exposed flesh like there's no tomorrow. Obviously, it's not nearly as easy as it sounds, since you have to be constantly on the move and engage the lesser demons to avoid running out of ammo.
This is where the Unmakyr comes in. Unlocked after collecting all six Empyrean keys hidden throughout the game, the Unmakyr is essentially a machine gun version of the devastating BFG. On top of that, it deals extra damage against demons, which isn't good news for the Icon of Sin.
True, the gun does not have much ammo to play around with, but if you can aim your shots just right, the beast's armour will crumble away like a digestive biscuit in your morning coffee. After that, feel free to blow the bejesus out of his bloodied face with everything you've got.
