Many seasoned Dark Souls players would probably agree that Queen Nashandra, one of the possible final bosses of Dark Souls II, isn't massively hard to begin with - at least, compared to most of the things you have to kill to reach her. Even so, there exists a way to make this fight a complete joke, and once you know about it, it'd be stupid to do it any other way.

This method requires the Crown of the Old Iron King DLC, or Scholar of the First Sin. In this DLC, once you get the mechanical Brume Tower up and running again, the lift that leads up to the Memory of the Old Iron King hides an illusory wall halfway up the lift shaft.

Inside the room that appears is a chest containing the Hollow Skin, a headpiece literally made from the face of a human turned hollow.

While it might seem like just a particularly hideous mask to wear, it actually has the hidden effect of completely nullifying the curse status - something Nashandra makes quite a bit of use of.

In other words, there's no longer any danger of being hollowed by those annoying orbs she summons throughout the fight. Have fun making a total mockery of this Child of the Abyss.
