10 Video Game Characters We Couldn’t Wait To Kill

6. Officer Tenpenny (Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas)

The almighty douchebag in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, Officer Frank Tenpenny is a corrupt cop in the Los Santos Police Department, one who has a number of run-ins with protagonist C.J. over the course of the game, specifically threatening to frame him for the murder of a cop which Tenpenny himself perpetrated if he doesn't do his bidding. Despite being voiced by veteran badass Samuel L. Jackson, he's arguably the most unlikeable and fleshed out villain in the GTA series, and taking him down in the game's final mission, End of the Line, was a sure pleasure indeed. Tenpenny is fleeing from C.J., who he tried to kill in a crack house fire, in a fire truck, and C.J. gives chase, eventually causing Tenpenny's vehicle to go careening out of control, flying off an overpass and causing Tenpenny fatal injuries. Though it's slightly less satisfying in the sense that we don't personally put any bullets in Tenpenny's body in order to ensure the authorities believe it was a traffic accident, it's still great to see the guy get his just desserts.
