Throughout Hallownest, you'll frequently stumble upon the hapless, quixotic 'hero' Zote the Mighty, invariably in a bind from his latest misguided tilt at a webbed windmill. Though he'd perish otherwise, Zote, deluded by his hubris, does not appreciate the assists, and declares The Knight his rival.

Save him from certain death, and Zote will even turn up as the last 'boss' in the Colosseum's Trial of the Warrior. As you might expect, he's no match for Hollow Knight's hero, literally stumbling through the fight without posing any threat whatsoever.

Not only can his nail now land a scratch on The Knight, but it can bloody well kill him - and quickly. In fact, Zote - or Grey Prince Zote, to give him his full dream title - is one of the hardest bosses in an already very hard game.
