10 Video Game Collector's Editions That Were Total Rip-Offs

1. Marvel Vs. Capcom: Infinite - Collector's Edition

The Witcher 3
Capcom/Marvel

Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite was enough of a disappointment without having one of the worst collectors editions of all time.

This collectors edition retailed for $200 and was advertised as coming with four character statues and a neat box with the Infinity Stones inside. Throw in the season pass and you've got a good, if fairly standard, collectors edition.

The statues of Mega Man, Captain Marvel, Iron Man and Chun Li are actually pretty cool too, even if they aren't anything amazing. Definitely not worth $200, but they aren't the main problem with this collectors edition.

The real issue comes when you get to the Infinity Stones which, instead of looking like some of the most powerful artifacts in the universe, look like cheap plastic Easter eggs.

No, really.

How Capcom thought this was worth the money is beyond anyone, but the Infinity Stones are truly embarassing. Not that you would want to anyway, but you can't even take them out of their big plastic case.

This wouldn't even be worth it at $100.
