3. The Witcher 3 - Collectors Edition
Execution is everything.
By all accounts, the Witcher 3 Collectors Edition should have been one of the coolest of this generation, with an artbook, steelbook, Witcher medallion and an awesome statue to top it all off.
The statue is where things started to go wrong.
Despite being shown off as highly detailed and well painted, the final product showed a Geralt who more often than not looked like some sort of cheap Hollywood monster.
Geralt's mug is the main problem of this statue, as in most cases the paint job was completely messed up. The end result is pretty haunting, but it's not like the rest of the statue lived up to expectations either.
This wasn't a cheap collectors edition either, going for about $200 when The Witcher 3 released, with the size of the statue making this quite an expensive one.
Imagine putting down that much money to end up with a pretty ugly end product. What a shame.
