Javik is the last living member of the legendary Prothean race from Mass Effect 3.
He is part of a DLC made specifically about his character, and if you think this kind of special treatment feels undeserved, you clearly haven't seen the man in action.
As one of the ancient aliens responsible for seeding the galaxy with intelligent life, Javik possesses a certain aura of superiority that makes his character stand out even next to someone as prominent as Shepard.
His knowledge that spans beyond anything modern civilizations have achieved, along with his superior prowess and charisma that overshadow even the strongest Krogan and the most alluring Asari, make him seem like a true god walking amongst his own creations.
This supremacy obviously comes with a fair share of pride and prejudice, but his utter disregard for the "lesser" lifeforms of the Milky Way only adds to his already overwhelming presence on screen.
You may not like it, but when Javik is around, Shepard and the crew feel more like lackeys fulfilling the goals of a far greater being.
