10 Video Game Enemies So Hard They Got DELETED

1. The May-Pole - Fallout 4

And finally, to save perhaps the most cursed for last, we have Fallout 4's May-Pole.

During development of the long-awaited RPG, it almost included a special glowing ghoul enemy which was 300 feet tall and would've stalked the Wasteland while accompanied by a gang of regenerating feral ghouls.

In a Reddit AMA, character artist Jonah Lobe revealed the creature's existence, which he described as a "melting elemental of agony" and later posted concept art pictures just to confirm it.

As for why the beast never made it into the final game?

The May-Pole was a passion project for Lobe but not one that had actually been approved for inclusion in the game, and considering the many technical issues that come with adding a skyscraper-sized creature into a game world as complex as this, it was ultimately removed.

Lobe noted that he didn't come up with the May-Pole until Fallout 4 was already nine months into development, and it risked tanking the game's "delicate balance of variables."

That's fair enough, but what a shame this thing never got its moment.
