10 Video Game Franchises Netflix NEEDS To Develop

The Halo franchise has been going strong ever since its birth on the original Xbox platform. Since then the games have amassed critical praise and explored a variety of gaming platforms and even branched out into mini-movies, animated cartoons, comics, books and plentiful amounts of fan films.

With that in mind an argument could be made that an exclusive, high-budget TV series revolving around the stoic Spartan warrior and his war against the Covenant is unnecessary, and the argument has some strong and fair points. Unfortunately, mainstream media is a different entity to the vortex' of YouTube and third-party sites, and some live-action adaptations have been left ignored and forgotten.

Should Netflix adopt the Halo franchise and develop their own series, we imagine they would look to the narrative of the games that show Master Chief and his allies battling their enemies across a variety of worlds. The story wouldn't be laced with as much cerebral narrative as we'd hope, but be more of a flexing of CGI capabilities and the worth of some strong and dependent writers.

If Netflix were to push the envelope on a Halo series, we'd be sure to tune in to something utterly breathtaking.

I overthink a lot of things. Will talk about pretty much anything for a great length of time. I'm obsessed with General Slocum from the 2002 Spider-Man film. I have questions that were never answered in that entire trilogy!
