10 Video Game Franchises You Won't Be Seeing For A While

2. Marvel Vs. Capcom

After how badly Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite was handled, this isn't surprising.

The Marvel vs. Capcom games have always been some of the most beloved fighting games out there, giving fans plenty of polish, depth and fan service.

Well, until Infinite was released that is.

Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite was one of the most disappointing games of 2017, and to say that many elements of it were a mess would be an understatement. Characters looked bizarre, the game was lacking content and artistically everything about it screamed generic.

Despite that, the gameplay for Infinite was actually surprisingly good, which made it even more tragic that the rest of the package couldn't hold up.

Considering how poorly the game was received and the massive drop in players, it's not likely that either Capcom or Marvel will risk a game of this degree for some time, no matter what the rumours may say about an updated version.
