2. Donkey Lady - Red Dead Redemption 2
Red Dead Redemption 2 is full of hidden easter eggs, secrets, and mysteries to solve. Despite telling a serious and realistic story about a group of bandits in the dying Wild West, the game doesn't shy away from throwing in secret encounters with aliens, robots, ghosts, and other otherworldly creatures.
The interesting thing is that one such monster is actually a nod to a glitch that occurred in the original game.
In the first Red Dead Redemption, there was a glitch which caused the models of human NPCs to get swapped with animals. The result was an equally hilarious and terrifying group of 'animal people', who would chase the player around on all fours.
One of these human-animal hybrids was an angry donkey crossed with a model of a woman, which one player caught on camera. The creature became known as "Donkey Lady", and eventually Rockstar decided to pay homage to this terrifying glitch by creating an proper donkey-human character model in Red Dead Redemption 2.
Curiously enough, Donkey Lady seems to have been given a backstory, albeit a tragic one. When encountered in Red Dead 2, she is a skeleton who was seemingly worked to death by her captors, thanks to her particular form.
