You all knew this one was coming. Oh you need us to gather five different items and bring them back to you before this quest will progress? Cool, just so you know, though: we actually had it in mind that we were going to be taking on some more nuanced tasks what with being the chosen one and all, not following your goddamn shopping list.

Fetch quests haven't even become infamous in recent years, they've been despised since before last decade. The most egregious examples are those that send you to one end of the map, which you haven't visited yet so fast travel ain't an option, then upon your return they ask you to go to a completely different location... which you also can't fast travel to! And it just keeps on going.

The worst thing about fetch quests, and precisely why they need to go, is because it just shows a depressing lack of imagination on the part of any developer willing to stoop to this level, and boy do they stoop... constantly... for entire games. Please, please, if nothing else off this list, please get rid of this nonsense.
