While each Zelda game introduces a 'new' Link, each one is connected in various ways that have turned Link into an iconic gaming figure; a highly obvious one to point out is the green garb. While Link's stories are usually filled with dungeons and battles, he usually comes from very humble beginnings; in fact, many Zelda games star a Link that hasn't reached adulthood yet. It has to be noted as well that Link isn't portrayed as the brightest hero you'll ever meet. A lot of his reactions are played off for humour and supporting characters regularly mock him or berate him for not paying attention. Still, Nintendo know how to create a classic hero story and half the fun of the Zelda games is getting to witness the transformation of Link from naive boy into the Hero Of Time. In reality, you wouldn't give Link a chance of overcoming the odds and banishing evil time after time, yet with the Triforce Of Courage (and a helping dose of natural bravery too), Link has almost single-handedly saved Hyrule (and neighboring lands) more times than we can count. Make no mistake, this hero is one to be reckoned with; even if the state of his clothes will be questionable at best by now.
I have an addiction to achievements, a craving for new bands and a dream to become Captain America. I once finished second in a Mario Kart 7 tournament so I'm kind of a big deal.
