10 Video Game Mistakes You Can't Unsee
9. Teleporting Zombies & Resurrected Survivors - Dead Rising
Classic zombie killing video game series, Dead Rising has had some issues, there’s no doubt about that. The most infamous example is that, on launch, those playing on a standard definition display couldn’t actually read the game’s text boxes.
It goes further, though. There are several elevators within the game. In these elevators you’ll usually find zombies but of course, being zombies, they don’t really have a specific floor in mind. Kill them, close the door, open the door and magically they’re all back. Not only are they zombies, but they’re now teleporting zombies.
Another glaring mistake is in the very opening of the game. Frank West will be taking a helicopter ride to the Willamette Parkview Mall. A fun little mini-game will have you snapping pictures of zombies, racking up points before you start killing.
However, if you look carefully at the woman who gets killed on the warehouse roof, you’ll see it’s Michelle. This won’t mean much by name but she’s actually a surviving character you’ll meet later on inside the mall.
Perhaps it was a mistake. Or, perhaps Capcom are hinting at something. Michelle never died, she was just plotting the revenge she would take on Frank West in Dead Rising 5.
