Netflix has an adaptation of Cuphead in the works, and thus this entry acts as both speculative and guaranteed simultaneously. Looking at a sneak peek at this series doesn't reveal much information other than who the producers and voice actors are. What we do know is that it is taking the traditional cartoon style and forming a running series out of it.

Speculating on the state of a feature-length Cuphead film takes us in two different directions. We could either see one stemming from the game or the up and coming Netflix animation.

In either instance, the characters of Cuphead and Mugman have great potential to be majorly popular. With the pair having already achieved significant success in the gaming world, the mainstream would be charmed by the duo.

This is likely why developers have already started to produce the show. They have fantastic mainstream appeal and should this animated series become a success then there is no reason as to why a full film couldn't come from the world of Cuphead.
