10 Video Game NPCs Hiding Dark Secrets

It’s not actually an understatement to say that the vast majority of the No More Heroes cast are harbouring some pretty questionable out-of-work activities, after all they mainly comprise of assassins who’d put you on ice for a crisp ten-pound note.

However there’s one example that’s very unlike the others in that we’re actually told their dark and horrible backstory, but that this sad tale is actually masked by the game itself when delivered to the player. I’m speaking of course about Jeane, Travis’s half sister and whose motives for killing Travis’s parents are told in great detail. In fast forward.

Yes in order to not “jack the age rating up” for the game, Jeane speaks at triple time and therefore a lot of these horrible secrets are left completely at a distance from the player. However when slowed down you get an awful tale about sexual molestation, prostitution, and personal revenge.

Therefore think of this as an example of an NPC actually not hiding their dark secrets, but the game doing it for them!
