2. Milla Vodello - Psychonauts
One of the most vibrant and exuberant characters of the original Psyhconauts is camp counsellor Milla Vodello, who invites us all into her psychedelic and swinging 60’s mind in order to learn about levitation.
Her mind is a wonderful and cheery place which acts as the perfect tutorial stage for getting to grips with this new skill; however it appears that things aren’t truly what they appear to be if you delve deeper into her brain.
As you progress through the level you’ll find an area where you can levitation ball jump over to which Milla immediately tells you to leave. Inside the room you can find a memory vault which expresses that before Milla was an agent she looked after children and unfortunately, a fire claimed the lives of the kids which she now blames herself for.
How are we so sure she blames herself? Well if you go inside “the real party killer” area within this box, you’ll see a room of pure torment which has representations of the children all of whom are whispering “save us Milla”. It’s haunting, to say the least.
