10 Video Game Plagues That Would Destroy The World

3. Blood-Borne Disease - Bloodborne

Every time I play Bloodborne, I’m reminded of how beautifully realised, detailed and intricate its world is. From the gothic architecture, to the way the world intersects with one another. It also reminds me that I never want to visit there.

You see, for all the little details Bloodborne possess, it also hosts a variety of disgustingly ghoulsome creations that have been inflicted to a blood-borne disease - hence the name.

The city of Yharnam is a playground for an elaborate set of increasingly nightmarish creatures that have lost any sense of reason and are hellbent on your decimation. While the inhabitants may be very similar to what you’d experience downtown on a Saturday night, at least those late night clubbers are only looking to eat a kebab - not you.

If our world followed this same sequence of events that lead to the demise of Yharnham, there would be no hope for us all. From the amount of brutal deaths I’ve experienced in Bloodborne, I wouldn’t last five minutes and I suspect neither would the majority of the population either.
