10 Video Game Plagues That Would Destroy The World

2. The Bubonic Plague - A Plague Tale: Innocence

Probably the closest to home on this list is the expansion of the original bubonic plague. While A Plague Tale: Innocence takes the original deadly infection to showcase the brutality and horror of it all, it also runs out of field with how crazy it pushes it all.

Passed mainly through rats, the world here sees the vermin gathering by the thousands to cause a tsunami of infectious rodents. It’s all very far fetched, but extremely terrifying.

If we were to see this implemented into a modern day setting, there would be mass panic and the casualty count would sky rocket. The bubonic plague causes horrific symptoms such as fever and vomiting, before causing swollen lymph nodes all over the body. This is if you haven’t been trampled to death by a sea of rats before hand.

This is a disease that was present in our reality and it’s never off the cards for something of that magnitude to make the rounds again.

Maybe now isn’t the best time to get that pet rat you were always thinking about.
