10 Video Game Pre Orders That Were Actually Awesome
9. The Witcher III: Wild Hunt (Steam)
It’s no secret the appreciation that developer CD Projekt Red has for their fanbase, and so it was of little surprise that when the pre-order bonuses were announced for the PC version of The Witcher III, the love and attention to detail were present in abundance.
Steam users were granted access to a digital artbook, soundtrack and world map, amongst a plethora of other perks and goodies. The latter is a great addition, as The Continent that plays host to the happenings of The Witcher III was a sight to behold, from towering and influential cities to lowly trading outposts, all connected by a rich, detailed world and wrapped in a sense of adventure that only few titles manage to accomplish.
The soundtrack is exceptional, and must not go unnoticed. Those who pre-ordered the game were gifted Marcin Przybyłowicz's mystical and downright amazing melodies, making every commute to work all the more epic.
While many pre-orders lazily throw a couple of exclusive weapons and XP boosts your way and send you out into the wilderness, CD Projekt Red provided a smorgasbord of enticing extras, all serving to enhance the already amazing experience.
