7. Resident Evil 3 (Best Buy)
With Capcom’s resurgence in recent years bringing exceptional titles to our screens including – but not limited to - Devil May Cry 5, Resident Evil 7, Monster Hunter World and the superb Resident Evil 2 Remake, the developer we once loved for their weird and wacky game franchises finally have their mojo back. Gone are the days of questionable DLC and mediocre fighting games, and in its place a collection of titles worthy of the Capcom seal.
Survival horror enthusiasts, in particular, are sure to benefit from the fruits of their labour, as the classic Resident Evil games have seen glorious remakes and remasters that reignite the tense atmosphere of their PS1 and PS2 doppelgangers.
A remake of its third instalment, Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, is set for a global release of 3 April 2020, and those souls who are brave enough to reach for their wallet to preorder the title from Best Buy will receive a steel book featuring eerie artwork plastered on its front and rear. Not only that, but they will also receive Jill Valentine’s classic outfit as well as Carlos’ original hairstyle - paying homage to the very game that inspired the remake.
