10 Video Game Products That Insulted Their Key Audience

9. Power Armour Helmet - Fallout 76

Even despite the disastrous launch of Bethesda's flagship franchise's first foray into online multiplayer, Fallout 76's introduction to players across the world was nothing short of awful.

Beginning with the now infamous 'duffle kerfuffle', where canvas bags were promised to those who preordered the Power Armour edition, who later received a far inferior product that was promised, Fallout 76's track record with related products has been iffy at best.

Though this entry could be reserved for that calamity and be just as relevant, we've instead gone for the collectable helmet sold at GameStop, which had to be recalled due to dangerous amounts of mould, posing a threat of respiratory infections.

Though the product surely wouldn't become a vital part of the collectors wardrobe moving forward and would likely sit on a shelf for the foreseeable future, it's hard to defend a video game product that could cause actual harm to those willing to pay extra for the privilege.

The already damaged reputation of Bethesda as a result of Fallout 76's woeful launch was undoubtedly tarnished further by this issue, and gamers were left insulted, and potentially medically compromised by the whole ordeal.

When Bethesda told us Fallout 76 would be breathtaking, they weren't wrong.
