9. The House of the Dead 2: Remake
Considering that the remake of classic light-gun shooter The House of the Dead was released in April 2022, it was reasonably assumed by fans that Forever Entertainment would quickly get to work on remaking its much-loved fan favourite sequel.
Given the incredibly short length of these games, many believed they'd see The House of the Dead 2 remade by 2023 or 2024 at the latest, but the remake was actually only announced this past January - almost three years after the original remake came out.
Now to be fair, the fan response to the first remake was rather divisive, largely due to how undeniably dated it showed the game itself to be.
And for the sequel's remake, the re-recorded voice acting is absolutely going to ruffle some feathers, but it'll still be neat to play a glossy, tidied-up version of one of the most iconic co-op multiplayer games of the late 1990s.
