P.T. was a massive hit when it first dropped back in 2014, seeing Konami give away few details about their demo to preserve the surprise. Developed by Kojima Productions as a teaser for a new Silent Hill game, it featured some truly chilling moments that still haunt players to this day.

Stuck within a looping hallway, your journey was marred by a hostile apparition called Lisa and in order to progress, you’d need to explore the connected rooms. These would change upon each loop and rarely for the better.

Not long after starting, you’ll hear noises within the bathroom and upon approaching, Lisa slams its door shut. Soon after, a loop occurs and you can enter but you’ll quickly wish you hadn’t as, jump scares aside, this becomes P.T’s most disturbing moment.

Upon examining the filthy sink, you’ll discover an unborn foetus lying within it, writhing in agony before it begins talking with a voice from the radio.

It’s a truly unsettling scene, and with Silent Hills’ cancellation, you can’t help but wonder what else Hideo Kojima planned.
