Fez was a really interesting puzzle game that explored a lot of novel ideas and perplexed its players at every step of the way. In fact, one of the puzzles in the game was so difficult that people needed the developers' help in order to solve it.

After beating the game and unlocking the New Game + mode, the players had to test their wits against a strange black monolith in order to obtain the final red cube in the game. Discovering the monolith was a puzzle in and of itself, but trying to figure out what to do with it was a mystery on a whole different level.

No one knew what to do with the monolith for the longest time. Nothing that the community tried seemed to work, and at some point, people started to believe that there was no solution to the puzzle. Eventually, the development team had to step in and encourage them by dropping some hints.

With the help of the dev team and the community's collective effort, the players were finally able to find the right combination. But to this day, most people still don't know why that specific sequence was the answer to the puzzle.
