10 Video Game Sequels We're Still Crying Out For

7. Ori And The Blind Forest 2

Ori and the Blind Forest was a game praised for its deeply emotive story and almost painfully charming aesthetic. At the same time, however, it also still managed to be a seriously challenging game that bordered on being frustrating.

Nordic Games' quaint platformer stands as proof that there's still more than enough room for charm amongst a boisterous and aggressive market. You don't have to be hacking pieces off of enemies or blasting through a war-torn galaxy to be completely engrossed in a game, and Ori's adventure is a quintessential example of that sentiment.

While its story is well satisfied enough in just one game, that doesn't quench the desire to dive immediately back into such a fascinating atmosphere. Fortunately, there's enough mystery around Nibel to give the developers licence to revisit; who else wants to see a new story now that Kuro's egg has finally hatched?
