10 Video Game Sequels We're Still Crying Out For

6. Bloodborne 2

Distanced enough (somehow) from the Souls series not to be classed as an actual Demon Souls or Dark Souls title, Bloodborne still offers more than enough to make us wish a sequel were on the horizon. In fact, it even manages to do what Dark Souls does better than Dark Souls.

With the most interesting world we've ever seen in this type of game, Bloodborne's terrifyingly gothic atmosphere is the kind of setting that you buy games for. Dark Souls is a dark fantasy, but Bloodborne feels like something all its own. The unique weapons and intriguing bosses add even more to this, leading to an experience that's superior to Hidetaka Miyazaki's other stellar works.

The fact that creator Miyazaki has reportedly said he is now working on a new, previously unseen IP means that a true Bloodborne sequel isn't likely right now. Still, the very least we can hope is that this new IP derives enough inspiration from Bloodborne to recapture the style and tone.
