The levels known as speedways in Insomniac's original Spyro the Dragon trilogy are pretty polarising among their players. Some enjoy the fast-paced, free-roaming flight away from the main formula, while others see them as an infuriating obstacle standing between them and the rest of the game.

Regardless of which camp you pitch your tent in, you'll always want to find the fastest way around the course - and that isn't necessarily the one that the developers have mapped out for you.

In two of Spyro the Dragon's time trial levels, Night Flight and Crystal Flight, a few fairies can be seen around the fringes of the course, holding arrow signs that point the way to go.

On your first try, you might think that taking their advice is a no-brainer; but then again, if you're familiar with the levels, it's likely you'll have found a much better way of flaming all the objects without sticking to the beaten path.

Spyro Reignited Trilogy even encourages you to take this one further, offering you skill points for flaming every fairy in each of these speedways. Clearly, dragons do NOT like to be told what to do.
