If you like your shooters, there is a high probability that you have played a game where at some point you are tasked with killing Nazis. This is no exception in The Saboteur. However, I bet you have never played a game that lets you kill a Nazi with a machine gun during a race in the Grand Prix.

In the prologue of The Saboteur, Captain Sean Devlin races against his soon to be rival Kurt Dierker, a champion racer of Nazi German. During the race, Kurt cheats and shoots out your tires, allowing him to win the race.

When Sean and his best friend Jules try to get revenge, they are captured by Kurt, who reveals himself to be an SS commander. He tortures and kills Jules before Sean escapes and the rest of the game is spent trying to get revenge on Kurt.

However, it is possible to kill Kurt during the race. If you complete some challenges in the prologue before the race , you acquire the Aurora machine gun, which you can use during the race to kill Kurt.

This undermines any kind of revenge story taking place, if there was no one to take revenge on in the first place.
