1. Enemies Miss Their First Shots - Bioshock

Now, it wouldn’t be a list about video games on the internet if it didn’t have something to do with Bioshock or Spec-Ops: The Line, would it?

Coming from the man himself, Ken Levine, he got on Twitter a few years back to drop a fun fact for those that are obsessed over his games. Entering Rapture for the first time is breathtaking in itself, though sometimes everything going on around you might be too much and you could do with a helping hand.

So what did Ken Levine and the developers do to help ease people into this underwater wonder? Well, they gave enemies the aim of a Stormtrooper:

First shots from an enemy against you in BioShock always missed...that was the design, think it got fully implemented. No "out of blue!"

So, while players think they're a straight-up badass right off the bat, at least a sizeable portion of that is coming straight from the dev team.
