10 Video Game Trophies That Made You Do RIDICULOUS Things

6. Commitment - The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe

Given that The Stanley Parable is itself a parody of FPS tropes, it's fitting that the game's suite of achievements are also a thorough piss-take of "meaningless" digital rewards themselves.

One of the Ultra Deluxe edition's most infamous trophies is "Super Go Outside," which can only be popped after not playing the game for an entire decade, and yet this trophy can at least be cheesed by simply moving your system clock forward 10 years.

There's no such workaround for the "Commitment" trophy, though, which has the oddly specific requirement of keeping the game running for 24 hours... on a Tuesday. Yup.

Simply starting the trophy at midnight on a Monday night and then moving the system clock forward a day doesn't work - you need to genuinely leave the game idling for 24 hours to pop it.

For those who don't want to tie up their console for an entire day, though, you can at least get the achievement through cumulative hours acquired over multiple Tuesdays, which honestly might be an even more deranged way of getting it done.
