In Sea Of Thieves, developers Rare give players everything they need to set off on their own pirating adventure within the vibrant open world. Alongside mastering sailing and ship combat, part of being a successful pirate is perfecting your fashion sense to let other players know exactly what kind of pirate you are.
From dressing to represent a chosen faction, adorning filthy rags to be a rotten scoundrel, or acquiring regal threads to appear like a respectable captain, there’s plenty of choice when it comes to customising your pirate and ship.
And while some outfits like the Dark Adventurer set can cost a mighty haul of 79,234,875 gold for everything, it’s the stylish Ferryman set that proves to be the rarest (and most expensive) unlockable in the game.
Not available to buy in the game, the only way to acquire this collection of clothes and weapons was from a code included with the limited-edition Sea Of Thieves Xbox controller.
Getting this gorgeous controller online is still possible today, but purchasing one with a working code will cost prospective pirates upwards of $1,000.
Seeing anyone on the seas with this outfit is even rarer than spotting the Shrouded Ghost.
