King Logan is the brother of your character in Fable III and the tyrannical ruler of Albion who greatly expands the kingdom's army and industry at the expense of his own subjects.

Because Logan fosters an inhumane treatment of common workers and he acts rather contemptuously towards you, most Fable players despise him with all of their hearts.

At the same time, for all of his sins and flaws, Logan's harsh rule over the kingdom does lead to something positive, as in the end, it helps you save the world from utter destruction.

You see, without Logan's efforts to rapidly develop his country's industrial and military powers, the Kingdom of Albion would ultimately not be strong enough to withhold the strength of the supernatural army of the Crawler in the second half of the game.

Yes, it's you who saves the kingdom from the Crawler once you're put in charge, but much of what you have to work with in the war against the creature is owed to Logan and his villainous deeds.

Perhaps Logan could've prepared the kingdom for the invasion without such cruel treatment of his subjects, but even then, he still did his due diligence as the protector of the realm.
