10 Video Games That Would Be Awesome In First Person
3. Batman: Arkham Asylum
When it comes to superhero games, it's difficult to deny Rocksteady's Batman: Arkham series as the undisputed king that sits atop them all. While the genre was once forever stained by Superman 64, Rockstead allowed superhero games to live again with the Arkham series, with beautifully rendered editions of Arkham Island that can make fanboys weep. But as all the fisticuffs go down, as you brutally finish off that thug in a cinematic flurry of combos and special moves, it's exciting to think about it all happening from your own perspective. The Arkham series does what so few superhero games do; they make you feel like the superhero the game is about. As you play any of the Arkham games, you begin to really feel the raw power of the Batman at your fingertips. Thugs fall to your mighty fists, as do the parade of supervillains thrown at you, allowing an adrenaline rush that is unmatched by any game today. But Rocksteady could absolutely take it a step further by literally putting you inside the cowl, removing the third-person view and allowing you to feel the savage force of nature that you could be as Batman.
