10 Video Games Everyone Played (But NO ONE Talks About)

7. SSX Tricky (2001)

Anyone familiar with this title will already have Run DMC's "It's Tricky" playing in their head.

The sequel to snowboarding game 2000's SSX, Tricky was essentially the first game with a bunch of extras thrown in. It had more characters, more tracks, and more opportunities to perform bigger, more insane tricks.

What this game is remembered most fondly for, though, however, is its vibrant and over-the-top style. Every character was memorable and full of distinctive personality. Tracks were wild and whacky rollercoasters that encouraged players to land as many tricks as possible. And the tricks themselves - especially the appropriately named "uber tricks" were fantastically outlandish.

Of course, it's impossible to mention this title without highlighting the phenomenal soundtrack. Alongside the title track, a large part of Tricky's euphoric atmosphere came from its long list of energetic songs that made each race as exciting as the last.

Unfortunately, the snowboarding genre would soon go the way of skateboarding games, with no word on the series since 2012 when the last game was released. Now, the only time SSX Tricky is mentioned is when it's proceeded by the words "Do you remember".
