9. Fantasy Zone Inside Arnold Palmer Tournament Golf

Now here’s the thing, believe it or not I actually enjoy golf games, and would consider Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2004 to be one of my favourite games ever, because it was utterly mad. Look at them dancing, why is DMX doing the music for it?

Anyway Arnold Palmer Tournament golf was nowhere near as fun when I first placed this on the mega drive back in the day. It was just a dusty old golf game with a dusty old dude on the cover and made me think of the Simpsons parody game that Bart gets bought by his mum.

Or at least that’s what I thought.

For if you, for some reason, decided to max out the shot limit on any given hole (100 in case you’re wondering) then the game would present you with a “game over” screen. Fair enough, you think I’ve probably made a right meal of this, but then, without warning you’re suddenly able to play Fantasy Zone, a rather decent arcade game that sees you piloting a ship and shooting down cutesy enemies. Honestly, I can’t think of two more opposing forces when it comes to games, but there we go!
