10 Video Games Netflix Could Adapt After The Witcher
4. Dead Space
Dead Space came from EA Redwood Shores in 2008 and was a critical and commercial success. The game was a Resident Evil-inspired horror masterpiece set aboard an abandoned mining ship lost in space.
The success of Dead Space meant the developer was then rebranded as Visceral Games, and went on to make two sequels of differing quality. Dead Space 3 was a poor game by all accounts and performed as such, leading to EA putting the series on ice.
Well, it's been six years and Visceral has been shut down, meaning a new Dead Space isn't super likely - especially not with EA being all about live services. That's sad, because the love for Dead Space and Dead Space 2 has only grown in subsequent years, so why not capitalise on some of that passion with a partnership?
What makes a Netflix adaption of Dead Space not seem entirely impossible is Netflix's apparent love of sci-fi and horror; the platform has produced lots of space-related shows and movies, from Lost In Space to The Cloverfield Paradox.
That said, a TV series about a lowly engineer finding a lost mining ship in space, battling a a religious cult, and dismembering necromorphs isn't likely, but we're holding out hope.
