10 Video Games Netflix Could Adapt After The Witcher
3. Assassin's Creed
It's no secret that the Assassin's Creed movie starring Michael Fassbender was bad. So bad that it's quite incredible anyone green lit it in the first place.
Even though that disaster only released a few years ago, the property is so rich and that movie so unbefitting, there's clearly plenty of life left in regards to a live action series.
The coolest thing about a potential Assassin's Creed Netflix series is that it could adopt the anthology model, meaning each season could feature a different setting and a different Assassin. It could stray from the video games, but it sure would be cool to see the first season tackle the story of Altair, then subsequent seasons cover Ezio, Connor, Edward, Shay, Jacob & Evie, Bayak, and yes, even Arno.
Of course that's only a few of the many assassins, and any TV series is unlikely to cover the games, but we can dream.
Assassin's Creed is such a great property with so much potential for storytelling, world-building, jaw-dropping action scenes, and even some trippy modern day elements. Some might want them to abandon the whole modern-day thing, but imagine if it was redone and done well. Perhaps there's a chance after Netflix wraps on The Divison.
