10 Video Games NO ONE Can Agree On
4. Silent Hill 4: The Room

Silent Hill 4: The Room marked a major creative departure for the series, as rather than leaving the player to freely explore the wider town of Silent Hill once again, they were confined to protagonist Henry Townshend's apartment, which acts as a hub from which they can explore a number of supernatural dimensions.
It was nothing if not a provocative, left-field attempt to do something new, and while many appreciated Konami's effort, there were those who sorely missed the successful formula of the original trilogy.
For every fan who loved the game's discomforting atmosphere and general reinvention of the series, there was one who found the apartment gameplay clunky, lamented the amount of backtracking, and found its links to prior games disappointingly tenuous.
It is a game that's championed by many today as a fascinating curio, an oddball outlier in the franchise, even as many prefer to think of it as a mere failed experiment.
