10 Video Games So Bad They KILLED OTHER GAMES

3. Ride To Hell: Retribution

Commonly considered to be one of the worst games ever created, Ride to Hell: Retribution was released to universal disdain and mockery for, well, basically everything. It's genuinely difficult to think of one thing this game doesn't screw up. But you don't need me to tell you that when much bigger guys like Scott the Woz and Yahtzee have taken this thing to task. So let's get down to the point.

Eutechnyx and Deep Silver wanted Ride to Hell to be a flagship franchise, in the same vein as Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto series. So in a classic case of running before you know how to walk, they had two spinoff games in the works: Ride to Hell: Route 666 and Ride to Hell Beatdown, one for Xbox Live and the other for Mobile.

Needless to say, neither saw the light of day. Turns out when you release one of the worst games of all time, it somewhat kills audience's investment in seeing more.
