10 Video Games Supposed To Release On Other Consoles
8. Too Human
Action-RPG Too Human suffered through one of the most infamously troubled production cycles of any video game in history.
The game was in development from 1999 to 2008 at a cost of approximately $100 million, beginning life as a four-disc PlayStation game.
Work on the PS1 version concluded when developers Silicon Knights struck an exclusive deal with Nintendo, leading to the game shifting to the GameCube in 2000.
However, development for the GameCube was slow as Silicon Knights was preoccupied working on Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem and Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes.
Word then went dark on Too Human until 2005, when the company announced a new partnership with Microsoft, with the game moving yet again to the Xbox 360, while Silicon Knights confirmed plans for a trilogy on the platform.
It was finally released in 2008 to mediocre reviews, though remains a cult fave to this day, even if that planned trilogy naturally never came to fruition.
Still, Too Human carved out its place in gaming history as the only major AAA game to switch development between all of the Big Three platform holders.
