10 Video Games That Didn't End The Way Any Of Us Wanted
7. No Man’s Sky
The argument for No Man’s Sky not being on this list is twofold. Firstly, it is way better now and I don’t want to discredit that and secondly, you could say it doesn’t even have an ending.
Or at least it didn’t. Originally No Man’s Sky ran you through the gamut of world types and planet exploration only to bring you to the end of an enormously long journey to the centre of the galaxy. Which sounds pretty cool. Spoiler alert: it was not cool. Upon reaching your hard-fought objective what waits for you is, well, nothing. You get a galaxy rollback montage and you get dropped back in to find more centres.
Unless you hadn’t already guessed it, this does not get any more compelling. Allegedly the current ending is better but you’d be forgiven for not having experienced it.
