10 Video Games That Forced You To Answer Impossible Questions

4. GTA IV

Niko Bellic€\™s past is about as dark as his present, filled to the brim with death, violence and betrayal. Honestly, it€™'s surprising that he'€™s as mentally stable as he is, given the degree of suffering and misery that has plagued each and every moment of his life thus far.

One such moment came during the Bosnian War in which Niko and his army unit were betrayed by a member of their own team, Darko Brevic. The sole survivor, Niko vowed revenge on Darko; unfortunately, lacking the means or influence to track him down, it was unlikely that his desire for blood would ever be satisfied. That is, until Darko is delivered, bound and gagged right to Niko€™s feet.

The Decision: Should you murder Darko or allow him to live? Though Darko€™s actions got several people killed in the war, it€™'s also suggested that his death won€™t bring Niko the kind of closure that he€™s been looking for. It also appears that Darko would welcome death, tormented by regret and plagued by the consequences of his actions.

If you decide to kill Darko, Niko regrets the decision almost instantly; proving that in the end that vengeance isn't always the answer.
