10 Video Games That Just Pissed Off EVERYONE

7. FIFA 23 On Switch Is Basically Just FIFA 19 Again

It's no secret that the FIFA franchise's tenure on the Nintendo Switch has been, in a word, awful.

Since FIFA 20, the Switch ports have been given the "Legacy Edition" label, whereby they're fundamentally just FIFA 19 with updated kits, rosters, and stadiums.

Hilariously, IGN decided to protest this lazy approach from EA by copy-and-pasting their scathing review of FIFA 20 as their reviews for FIFA 21 and FIFA 22.

And recently, EA confirmed that despite considerable pushback from players, the upcoming FIFA 23 would be continuing the grotty tradition, releasing without most of the new features included in all other versions of the game.

Considering that EA expects loyal fans to fork out £34.99 for the new Legacy Edition despite it being fundamentally the same game, it's little surprise that Switch owners are pissed off.

If EA is going to be so blatantly lazy, they should really just offer an annual downloadable upgrade package for, say, a few bucks.
