10 Video Games That Kill You In The First Level
2. Call Of Duty: Vanguard
Because Call of Duty usually has a lot of complex mechanics, each entry starts with a mission that's not just simple, but brief. But in the latest entry in COD, the developers decided the first mission... was neither!
Even if you know exactly what to do, the first task in Call of Duty: Vanguard takes about an hour to complete. Even though the assignment is fun, creative, and takes place in multiple sections, you can't help thinking, 'It's still going!' while playing. Anytime it looks like you are about to reach the end, more objectives pop out of nowhere. The amount of objectives you have is so staggering, this could serve as the final level in an earlier COD game.
If the assignment was a simple 'run-and-gun' affair, it wouldn't be too bad. However, you need to be very well-equipped with all the controls (crouching, defending, takedowns, etc) and every weapon from the get-go or your team isn't going to make it.
Vanguard mightn't be too tricky if you are an expert at the franchise. But if this is the first game in the series that you've played, you're gonna be totally lost.
