10 Video Games That Let You Be TOO Powerful
9. Bioshock 2
Our first excursion into the watery hell-hole that is Rapture hit all the right notes for a horror game. You were a simple man struggling to survive a hostile environment by using any means necessary. All you had were small pools of ammo and strange new powers known as Plasmids to help you topple Rapture's assortment of oddities and psychopaths.
The most famous of these hellish adversaries were the Big Daddies. Hulking, mechanical behemoths that would mercilessly pulverise you if you dared to get too close to them or their Little Sisters.
Jump ahead to Bioshock 2 however and oh my, how the tables turned.
You were now playing as a Big Daddy yourself, able to dual-wield guns and Plasmids on the fly. Your starter weapon was an enormous drill that tore through Splicers like a hot knife through butter and each subsequent weapon you acquired gave you even more ways to repaint Rapture's many walls with viscera.
It was a welcome change of pace from the first game's tension filled fights, but as the game draws on, you become an unstoppable killing machine that even the toughest of Big Daddies will struggle to take down.
